Simple Elegance. This simple, yet elegant base design, along with the 12" or 14" illuminated National Geographic globe, is the perfect addition to the home or office. The meridian is an gun-metal grey acryllic/fiberglass blend so that the electric cord can be concealed. The base is fiberglass with a rubberized matte black coating for stability and durability; also concealing the cord. With an overall height of 15 inches for the 12" model and 17 inches for the 14" model, both feature the unique dual map - political with the light off and physical with the light on.
